This week in Maths we have been learning about patterns again. We noticed from our recent assessments that some children were find it tricky to recognise different shape and colour patterns for example when the pattern is a row of squares that alternates between red and green. Therefore, this week we would love the children to spend some time creating their own three repeating patterns in their home learning book which include shape and colour. These patterns can be created from just colouring pencils or other materials that have around inside and outside of the home like cardboard, material or leaves. The children can then cut these into shapes and stick them in!
