How to apply for the Early Years Pupil Premium

 

The Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)is additional funding for Early Years providers to help them improve the education they provide for disadvantaged 3 and 4 year olds.

 

Eligibility 

 

Families whose annual net earned income is £7,400 or less are eligible for this additional funding. This threshold has recently changed (from March 2018).

 

Or  if the child has:

  • been in local-authority care for 1 day or more in England or Wales;
  • been adopted from care in England or Wales;
  • left care under a special guardianship order or residence order in England or Wales.

 

Where a parent is entitled to Working Tax Credit during the four-week period immediately after their employment ceases, or after they start to work less than 16 hours per week, their children are entitled to EYPP
