Welcome to Year 5 Autumn Term 1, 2025!

Dear Parents, Carers and Pupils,

Welcome back!  We hope you have had a lovely summer holiday.

This term, our main topics are: Geography – What is life like in the Alps? and Art - Drawing: Depth, emotion and movement.

In English, we will be writing a narrative and an information text using the book The Jamie Drake Equation by Christopher Edge.

In maths, we will focus on place value, then a second unit covering addition and subtraction.

You can find details of homework on the relevant page under 'In this section'.  

PE days will be Wednesdays and Thursdays – please ensure that your child has the correct, named school PE kit on these days.
