FAQs about Nursery

What sessions do you offer?

We offer 15 hour funded sessions in the morning from 8.30am - 11.30am and in the afternoon from 12.30pm - 3.30pm. We also offer 30 hour funded sessions between 8.30am - 3.30pm. Our lunch time sessions is between 11.30am and 12.30pm, this is charged at £6.00 per session.

Do I have to accept all five sessions?

Children are normally expected to attend for the full five sessions per week, either in the morning, the afternoon or for the full day. We are however, offering flexibility this year, to support the differing needs of our families. If you require flexible childcare, please make this clear on your application.

When can I make an application for my child?

If you would like your child to attend our nursery, you must complete an initial application form and send, or bring this into school, when your child is two years old, or as soon as possible after that. Places are not allocated, however, on the basis of when the registrations are made.

A child can be admitted into our nursery in the September following their third birthday. Although our main intake is in September, we may have the space to offer flexible start dates in January and April. If this is something you are interested in, please get in touch with the Nursery Manager, Mrs Warner, via email: office@stokenchurchprimary.bucks.sch.uk

Consistent attendance on a regular basis is expected of all children.
