A Tiger Came to Tea in Nursery!

A very unexpected visitor inspired by a favourite story
After reading The Tiger Who Came to Tea, the Nursery children made homemade sandwiches and left them out, hoping the tiger might visit. When they arrived at school the next morning, they were delighted to see signs that he had been there!
The tiger had eaten the sandwiches and left paw prints, painted stripes on the windows, and made a colourful mess in the classroom. The children searched around the school to find him, carefully describing his orange and black stripes, giant paws and furry ears to everyone they met.
Although they didn’t manage to find the tiger, the children are still looking for clues and evidence wherever they go. This exciting experience sparked lots of imagination, storytelling and talk in Nursery. 🐯✨
