Welcome back!
Welcome back to the new school year at STOKENCHURCH and a very big well done to our children for a super first week and a bit! It has been a real pleasure to walk around school, see children listening attentively and engaging in their learning, and feel such a positive atmosphere.
I do hope you all had a restful summer holiday. A particularly warm welcome to the children, families and colleagues joining us this September. We are delighted to have you as part of our school community.
Having spent the past two years at STOKENCHURCH, this school and its community mean a great deal to me, and I am excited about what we can achieve together. I look forward to seeing and working with all our children and families in the weeks and months ahead.
Our focus value for this term is for our children to demonstrate that they are READY, RESPECTFUL & SAFE. We will be talking about this and modelling it frequently, and you will hear more about this (and lots more important information regarding your child) at our welcome meetings next week. I look forward to seeing you then if not before!
