Please watch the video: ‘Y5 + Y6 Scratch video 2’ (below). This will introduce the programming you need to create further shapes.
The first part of the video involves me recapping and reinforcing the learning from last week. Keep watching, however, since I will be giving you new information to progress your skills afterwards!

Y5 and Y6 Scratch Computing – Creating Polygons
You will need to use the new Scratch Editor which is the online editor for Scratch 3. Just copy and paste this into your search bar (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/editor) or click this link: Scratch Online Editor
Please watch the video ‘Creation of a basic shape in Scratch’. You can watch it by clicking here. This will show you the basic programming for the creation of a square. Using this knowledge, you can then see if you can create an equilateral triangle.
You may not be familiar with the Scratch layout since this is the latest version of Scratch. However, the programming is generally the same. If you have not used Scratch before, do not worry, because I have taken you through each stage of the process on the video.
Have fun! Save your creations and email them to your teachers.

For this week, we will be doing an 'unplugged' activity. This means it can be done without needing to use any technology (but you could always, if you'd like to, create a video of your creation afterwards that you can share via the Year 5 email address).
