If you would like ideas for activities over the Easter break, please see below.
There is no expectation that your child should complete any of these, they are suggestions only.
We look forward to seeing all of the children back in school on Tuesday 20 April.
Understanding the World
We have been learning about floating and sinking. Your child could experiment with items which float/sink, either in a washing up bowl or in the bath.
Maths This is a fun maths game for number bonds to 10, something which we have been learning about in class. https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/hit-the-button
If you go on a nice day out, and your child would like to, they could draw a picture about their day. Perhaps they could add a label or write a sentence about the picture too.
If your child would like to practise phonics, here are some games which we have used in class. If you would like to check which level would be appropriate for your child, please ask.
Nature If you and your child would enjoy a spring nature treasure hunt, please look here: https://www.wildlifewatch.org.uk/sites/default/files/2020-07/treasure.jpg
