Y6 Isle of Wight - Day 2

Year 6 Residential Trip — PGL Little Canada, Isle of Wight
Tuesday 17th June
What a brilliant second day on the Isle of Wight!
The children kicked things off with a hearty breakfast before diving headfirst into another jam-packed day of adventure. From the focus and skill of archery to the thrill of the zip wires and trapeze, the energy and excitement were sky-high. The low ropes and Jacob’s Ladder really put their teamwork and perseverance to the test — and they rose to the challenge superbly.
The sensory circuit, while perhaps a little on the chaotic side (!), was full of laughter and liveliness — and gave everyone the chance to let off some steam in a wonderfully unstructured way.
After a good lunch (and later, an even better dinner), we wrapped up the day with a genuinely idyllic walk along the beach. With the sun setting in the distance, it was a peaceful, grounding end to a full-on and fantastic day.
The trip continues with everyone in high spirits — the children enjoying this very special time in their lives.
Onwards to Day 3!
