On Friday, I had the pleasure of accompanying our Head Boys, Head Girls and Y6 Prefects (as well as Mrs Foster) to deliver 36 food parcels to the residents of St Hugh’s Close. The children behaved impeccably and the gifts were warmly welcomed at the doorsteps accompanied by special Happy Harvest cards and pictures drawn by the children. One resident was so overwhelmed she shed a few tears! The children were incredibly kind, mature and thoughtful as they delivered our special gifts and were treated to a glass of Vimto as a little thank you. It is days like this that make the job of headteacher so worthwhile and I was incredibly proud. Thank you to the children and thank you everyone again for your generous harvest donations😊
