Many thanks to the hundreds of children and parents who showed up last weekend to celebrate and support our Summer Fair. The weather was kind despite being overcast, and the combination of stalls, refreshments, challenges and attractions were a brilliant mix. The choir put on a special performance in the arena area and the Y5 and Y6 children presented their ‘mini-enterprise’ stalls. It was a really warm atmosphere throughout and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy their day. Mrs Springett and the PTA did a sterling job of the planning and organisation, thank you to Chris for supplying the music, well-done to Mrs Brand and the choir for such a lovely performance and thank you to all the school staff who turned out and pitched in. Well done to our competition entrants, who proudly wore their crowns or baked an entry for the cake competition – I must say that judging them was a huge challenge! We raised a fabulous £3800 and we are all really pleased and proud of the result. Thank you for supporting our school and enabling us to keep providing those little extras (and sometimes big ones) to the benefit of ALL our children. 😊
