First, watch the video above.
Your first spy mission is:
Don’t forget to send a picture of yourself to MISSION HQ addressed to AGENT HAT at email@example.com (Remember to use your spy name!)
COMPLETE THE ABOVE MISSIONS BEFORE WATCHING THIS MESSAGE FROM SILENT FOX:
Can you create your own LASER MAZE? Use wool or string and carefully attach it to a wall/door frame. You could also use a sprinkler if it’s a nice day.
Now complete your LASER MAZE and imagine you have been captured and must escape!
Send us some pictures or videos!
Watch the video above…
Stealthy McGee needs a new SPY GADGET- Can you help?
Design a new SPY GADGET and think about these questions:
What does it do?
How does it work?
How will it help you?
Draw a clear and labelled diagram?
Send us your gadgets!
To crack the codes you will need a CODEBREAKER.
You can print it out and make it or you can use the powerpoint to move it on the screen yourself (see instructions in powerpoint if using this one - you must be able to edit powerpoints on your device for this to work).
If printing please follow these instructions:
THE CYPHER YOU WILL NEED IS IN THE STOKENCHURCH PRIMARY NEWSLETTER FROM LAST WEEK- LOOK CAREFULLY TO FIND IT!
Can you decode the messages below? (You do not need to print these.)
Try these Maths codebreaking sums too!
For your International development, can you complete the French activities below from Madame Spy Reynard?
Watch the video above
Make your own invisible ink (YOU WILL NEED AN ADULT TO HELP YOU):
Dip the cotton bud in the lemon juice and write secret messages on the paper. Once dry, iron them (cool setting) to make the messages appear. Put a kitchen towel under the paper and ironed right on the paper. The heat breaks down the acid in the juice and the message should appear!
Can you write a message to someone who lives near by? A family member? A neighbour?
EXTENSION CHALLENGE: Can you write the instructions out using numbered points, imperative (bossy) verbs, time connectives, second person (you)?
Watch the video above and then go for a walk and practise your spy movements. Don’t forget to leave some invisible ink messages around for others! Hopefully you will find some too!

Crime Busting Fingerprint Dusting
Watch the video above to explain how to find suspicious fingerprints...
You will need:
1. Hold the nail file and pencil over the container
2. Rub the pencil led onto the nail file to make dust
3. Find a finger print in your home (a glass is a good place to look)
4. Dab the make up brush in the pencil dust and brush it over the print. Blow away the excess dust.
5. Take a piece of clear tape and press it over the print.
6. Rub the tape and then remove it.
7. Finally tape the fingerprint into your notebook and label where you found it and at what time.
8. Repeat until you find your suspect!
FINAL MISSION- Can you film yourself being a spy. Use everything that you have created this week and show us your skills!
We are proud of you spies. Send through your work to Mission HQ addressed to AGENT HAT.
