Vacancy at Stokenchurch Primary School


Stokenchurch Primary seeks to appoint a highly-motivated, enthusiastic Bursar with sound experience of responsibility for managing school finances and reporting to senior leaders and the governing body. Ideally we are seeking a September start with a handover in July.


Applications are invited for the post of full-time, term-time only Bursar to join our small, friendly admin team and become a valued member of our wider school community. Stokenchurch Primary is a maintained school and, as such, follows Local Authority procedures.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has an excellent understanding of school finance procedures and statutory requirements
  • Is experienced & committed to ensuring best value and meeting the needs of the school
  • Is highly-organised and works well both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Has strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate appropriate financial information at a variety of levels
