Y3 Zoom chats

SPIES: We are planning on our final 'Zoom' chat on Wednesday 8th July at 10:15. Come and join us wearing your spy disguise if you’d like to!

Please watch the video at the top if you haven’t already, and read the rules below before emailing us for the new Zoom meeting details. (For security reasons, they will be different from previous weeks).

This week, we would like to add a 'Show and tell' aspect to the call.

If your surname begins with Q-Z and you are happy to, please find something that you would like to show the rest of the group, for example, a piece of work you are most proud of. Each child will have a minute to share.

We look forward to seeing you!

Year 3 Zoom calls introduction

Year 3 Zoom rules

If you would like to participate in the Year 3 Zoom meetings (separate meetings for each class), please read the rules below and email us (yearthree@stokenchurchprimary.bucks.sch.uk) to ask for the log in details.

Parents must ensure that ground rules are in place so that the children have a good understanding of how the sessions will be organised and run:

  • Language must be appropriate, including any family members in the background.
  • Children must wear suitable clothing, as should anyone else in the household.
  • Any computers used should be in appropriate areas, for example, not in bedrooms; and the background should be blurred where possible.
  • An adult should be present at all times.
  • Live classes will be recorded so that if any issues were to arise, the video can be reviewed. These will be kept to a reasonable length of time.
  • Staff will record the length, time, date and attendance of any live sessions held.
  • Passwords for certain sessions will only be shared via the Year 3 secure email (yearthree@stokenchurchprimary.bucks.sch.uk) and should not be shared with others.
  • Pupils must rename their participant name to their first name. Children will only be admitted using a recognisable and appropriate name. We ask parents to supervise this.

If children do not adhere to these rules, they will be removed from the Zoom meeting.
